About me
My incredible singing journey has taken my voice all over the world, where it’s been featured in memorable commercials and iconic video games. I began singing commercial jingles at the tender age of 10, and from there, I ventured into singing background vocals for Curtis Mayfield alongside my mother and sisters, forming the R&B singing group Kitty and The Haywoods.
In the 90s, Konami music producer Rika Muranaka opened the door to the mesmerizing world of video games. I had the honor of lending my voice to “I Am The Wind,” the haunting theme song for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, a game that has etched its place in gaming history since its launch in 1997. Quite remarkably, another opportunity arose for me in the realm of video game music, this time for the beloved Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, where I had the privilege of contributing to one of the most iconic songs in video game history, “Snake Eater”.
My voice has graced commercials for renowned brands such as American Airlines, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and Gatorade. In the “Be Like Mike” campaign for the sports drink Gatorade, my distinctive voice resonated amongst a medley of talented singers. Beyond performing with classic R&B group, Kitty and the Haywoods, opened the door for me to collaborate with legendary artist such as Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Ramsey Lewis, Patty Austin, and many others.
My contributions to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater have left an enduring mark on these celebrated games, solidifying my voice as an indelible part of video game history.
